Reverend Alexander Gee, Jr.

Biographical Information

The Reverend Alexander Gee, Jr. is a product of the community he now serves as Founder and President of The Nehemiah Community Development Corporation and Pastor of Fountain of Life Family Worship Center. His educational background includes a B.A. in Economics and Afro-American History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1985. Before serving in his congregation full-time, Rev. Gee worked at the University of Wisconsin for seven years as a minority student recruitment officer, a Minority Affairs Director and as an Assistant to the Chancellor for Minority Community Relations. He is currently working on his Doctorate in Transformational Leadership Development at Bakke Graduate University in Seattle, Washington.From the time he was a teenager, Reverend Gee envisioned helping Madison’s disadvantaged and underserved population. He was ordained by the Church of God in Christ at the age of 20, and four years later in 1987 was appointed Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church.
